SLE
What a start to the Yukon on this SLE trim. An SUV the Yukon is, but practically a truck thanks to its large size, especially on the Yukon XL, along with its new independent rear suspension that adds more space and invites a smoother ride. While incredibly similar to its related SLT trim, there are a few differences between the two that add up. 18-inch wheels are found on the SLE, compared to the 20-inch variants of the upgraded SLT, the most obvious exterior cue. Other features that the SLE doesn’t possess include no power liftgate, navigation, or auto-dim mirror, and only with a 6-speaker sound system compared to the SLT’s Bose 9-speaker system. Even still, a mighty premium base trim level the SLE is, and a grand introduction to the Yukon & XL trim world.
Highlighted features:
- 18-inch 6-spoke machined aluminum wheels
- 5.3L V8 engine
- 355 horsepower, 383 lb-ft of torque
- 10-speed automatic transmission
- Best-in-class max cargo volume behind front row of Yukon XL with 4,097 L (144.7 cu-ft)
- Max cargo volume behind third row of Yukon XL with 1,175 L (41.5 cu-ft)
- Power-sliding centre console
- 10.2-inch diagonal premium GMC infotainment system
- Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
- HD Surround Vision
- Heated/ventilated perforated leather-appointed front seats
Starting from $61,848* for the Yukon and $64,848* for the Yukon XL (*base price before freight, not including increases or taxes).

SLT
The SLT sits pretty similar to the SLE, but with, obviously, the aforementioned features available here, like 20-inch aluminum wheels, power liftgate, auto-dim rearview mirror and 9-speaker Bose audio system. Where it further separates itself from its base-level brethren is the additional package it has available to be added on. While the SLE only has the ProGrade Trailering System, Cargo Convenience, Max Trailering and Performance Upgrade, the SLT has 3 more available. These packages are Illumination (adds illuminated front and mirror GMC emblems), Rear Media and Nav (adds rear media system and front navigation) and the SLT Luxury (adds a load of premium features like HD Surround Vision, power tilt steering, Rear Pedestrian Alert and much more). Enjoy a solid upgrade with the SLT, and more ability to customize with additional features to your liking.
