2022 Chevrolet Silverado Custom Trail Boss Vs. LT Trail Boss

The 2022 Chevrolet Silverado is available in several trim grades, each offers a specific set of features. All of these choices are designed to make sure an Ernie Dean GM customer can find a version of the full-size pickup truck that is properly equipped to meet as many of their needs as possible. To the untrained eye, designations like this can seem unnecessarily confusing. However, there are differences that can make a huge difference to buyers. Let’s take a closer look.

2022 Custom Trail Boss vs. LT Trail Boss Performance Specs

Chevrolet makes four engine options available with the 2022 Silverado. Both the Customer Trail Boss and LT Trail Boss will be equipped with the turbocharged 2.7-litre, four-cylinder engine as standard equipment. The 5.3-litre, V-8 and 3.0-litre Duramax Turbo-Diesel are available options on either Trail Boss model as well. Buyers interested in having the 6.2-litre, V-8 under the hood will need to choose the LT Trail Boss. It is not available with the Custom Trail Boss.

An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard for both versions of the 2022 Silverado. A 10-speed automatic can be used for either version as well.
