SLE

The SLE trim of the 2022 GMC Terrain may just be the starting base trim level, but it loads up this introductory model with a host of features. It’s powered by a 1.5L turbocharged gas engine (found on all of the 4 trims) and pairs that with capable systems for any road with Traction Select, and auto emergency braking for quick reliable stopping. The exterior is stylish and capable with roof-mounted side rails, LED head & taillights, body-colour mirror caps and 17-inch silver-painted aluminum wheels. Inside, the GMC Terrain is gloriously an SUV of the present, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 7-inch GMC infotainment system, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless start and more. The 2022 GMC Terrain SLE may be a base level trim, but that’s just in name only.

SLT

Building off of the fantastic Terrain feature foundation that the SLE stands for, the SLT fine-tunes some of those offerings with a welcome selection of upgrades. The silver-painted aluminum wheels and GMC infotainment system both increase in size by an inch, going from 17 to 18 inches and 7 to 8 inches, respectively. Comfort has been further improved through perforated leather-appointed seats, heated front seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Remote start supplements those heated features for a primed Terrain SLT on those chilly winter mornings. Further advanced entertainment and safety tech includes built-in Alexa integration available and an HD Rear Vision camera.
