The Globe

This establishment located in the heart of Rosemont is part of three businesses owned and operated by the Rosemont hospitality group under the leadership of Janice and Earle O’Born. 

The food is locally sourced using fresh and quality ingredients and the menu is updated seasonally. The appetizers are great for sharing and their seasonally inspired soup is a must-try! For dinner, why not try the 10oz ribeye steak, it is top-notch.

Mrs. Mitchell's Restaurant

Located in the hamlet of Violet Hill, this restaurant will make you step back in time to the 17th century with its rustic feel. The owner, Heidi Baufeldt has grown up in the restaurant and has continued to keep the food consistent, remaining loyal to their clientele. 

The fresh and hot spoon bread that is brought to each table is mouth-watering and delightful. Mrs. Mitchell’s is famous for their Reuben sandwich, which is served on house-made marble rye bread

They also offer a coursed Valentine’s dinner menu, but make sure you call ahead to make a reservation, the spots fill up quick. There is a reason this former schoolhouse receives such high ratings, the food and atmosphere.

Terra Nova Public House

This century-old building used to serve as the local general store, until it was remodelled into the pub you now see today. They have created a modern take on classic pub fare and the rolling hills make the perfect backdrop for sharing a memorable meal with someone special.

The chef, Ryan Praskey is experienced and uses local ingredients to create flavourful dishes. With knowledgeable servers and prompt service, they truly take care of you and satisfy your hunger. 

The ploughman’s platter is a must try and great for sharing, but don’t bother trying to share dessert! All of their homemade pies are so delicious and you will not want to share.

Mono Cliff's Inn
