What is an MPVI

MPVI stands for Multi Point Vehicle Inspection and is performed by a certified service expert here at Ernie Deans.

The MPVI is comprehensive assessment of:

• Tire Wear
• Remaining Engine Oil Life
• Brakes
• Wiper Blades and Glass Condition
• Battery Condition and Connections
• Fluid Levels
• and more

During the assessment an in-depth check sheet is used by the technician as they assess several points under each category listed above. The Health Check sheet looks like this:

The technician will look over each category and beside each subcategory will mark the finding. Findings include Checked and OK, Future Attention Required, Immediate Maintenance/Repair Required, or Not Inspected if it is not applicable.

Once the inspection is complete, a Certified Service Consultant can walk you through the results of the inspection and answer any questions you may have.

An MPVI is required to be performed every 12,000kms according to your vehicles Owner’s Manual. Ernie Dean Certified Service experts are GM-factory trained and are the best choice when it comes to the health of Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles.
